In 2011 Necker Island will host a Celebration Week to coincide with the second annual Billabong BVI Kite Jam supported by Sir Richard Branson and sponsored by the British Virgin Island Tourism Board. Kite boarding enthusiasts from around the globe will descend on the BVI for races and freestyle competitions. The event will take place from 27th February to 5th March, but our 7-night Celebration Week starts on the February 26th, 2011 which gives you an extra day to practise! The 2011 schedule of events is yet to be confirmed, but as soon as we receive the week’s schedule we will publish this on our website.

The rates shown are in US Dollars and are per couple. Please note that a 2.5% service charge is added to our accommodation rates.

Our rates include return launch transfers from Virgin Gorda or Beef Island airports, accommodation, all your meals and drinks, VIP invitations to on-island Kite Jam parties and events, endless activities, local tax, plus a team of 60 fabulous staff. While you’re welcome to laze on a hammock and watch the kite surfers whiz by, please note that the rate excludes participation in the event itself.

When you’re on Necker Island…

• Try kayaking, water skiing, snorkelling or… even learn how to kite surf! We have a dedicated watersports team who can help get you started
• Unwind in the Great House infinity pool and sip on a cocktail at the swim-up bar or enjoy the superb ocean views from the Jacuzzi
• Ease the stresses and strains of daily life with a relaxing Bali Leha spa treatment (for an additional cost)
• Take a stroll around the 74 acre island. There are 200 flamingos to spot as well as a host of other birds and tortoises, plus the views out to sea are truly breathtaking - from any angle!
• Laze the days away with a good book in one of the many hammocks
